Toyota Trips: The World Cafe Live
If you're looking for something to do on a Saturday, why not load the family up in your Toyota and take a trip to downtown Philadelphia to the World Cafe' live? Located at 3025 Walnut Street, The World Live Cafe is not only a restaurant, it's a music club and also the home of WXPN studios.
Each Saturday morning, the Peanut Butter & Jams at the World Cafe presents a crowd-pleasing experience for both kids and parents alike. The show opens at 11:00 AM, and the show begins at 11:30. Acts such as Dan Zanes and Friends, Ernie & Neal, Erin Flynn, and Ralph's World entertain audiences with everything from rock music to jazz to folk. The performances are always quality performances, and they include plenty of interaction with the children.
If you would prefer, leave the kids at home and come in to the World Cafe Live for a nighttime experience. There is a 300-person bistro-style concert room, a casual space for dining and listening to music, and the famous Upstairs Live Cafe where you can enjoy live music and food. Downstairs you will find colorful murals, as well as the main performance stage.
